Infernal fire always ran through her veins and maybe that’s why she plays so passionately; with her fever eyes and red hot hair she scorches everyone. Symphonic Horror Pyromantium’s, musicality and way of expressing herself through piano keys showed at an early age. Freya, who was born on the 10th day of month of a rose moon in Khimki, began her musical training at the Music School, where she studied piano technique & musical theory. The keyboardist played in a couple of metalbands through the teens and then she joined Blackthorn. At first she was meant to be only a session musician, but later on Freya and her Korg X5D joined the band permanently. Classical composers such as Wagner, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Liszt. have a strong influence on her; the top sources of inspiration are nature, elements, emotions & life in general. Freya’s favorite bands are Lux Occulta, Old Man’s Child, Summoning, Limbonic Art, Anorexia Nervosa, Dimmu Borgir, Borknagar, Yearning and Crematory.
