Leaving To Return

Mighty sea whispers this story
A wind from the sky reminds it too
Hear, my friends, the ballad of glory
Love and death of the two

I come, through seas, dark and deep
Through walls and bans to
Close your eyes for infinity
We can tear this unbearable circle
Leaving to return

That royal ship restless sailed through the waves
The Queen and Tristan drank a cup of woe
There was a beginning of greatest passions
Torments and freezing awe

I come, through seas, dark and deep
Through walls and bans to
Close your eyes for infinity
We can tear this unbearable circle
Leaving to return

Long was the way that fate them bore
It like laughed by green jasper ring
When the time came Tristan took away
His Queen into the spring

I come through seas, dark and deep
Through gibes and vices
To stay with you for aye
We can tear this unbearable circle
Leaving to return

Every spring beside their graves blooms this blackthorn
Entwines its branches in the sunset ray
